The topology of prefabrication is a modular architecture. An architecture that cannot only conform but adapt to its environment. This mixed-use project is shaped by the culture of its place. Burlington is an underutilized community in East Knoxville that has become a non-place. It does not have the space to thrive. Metamorph is designed to create a space for the community. The new urban neighborhood attempts not to displace or gentrify but grow with the local residents and help the community thrive. Link to Book
